We have had reports of cyber criminals imitating court telephone numbers (“spoofing”) and demanding that citizens pay money for fines or fees in cases involving relatives. These calls are not valid. New Mexico Courts will never call citizens to ask for payments of any kind.

The purpose of this instruction is to help you better understand the process of an appeal and to provide information to help you complete some of the forms required for filing an appeal.

For assistance with completing forms, select a form movie, which provides step-by-step directions on form completion.

In Resources, you will find links to relevant websites, forms, and related documents.

One suggestion for working with the forms is to download a form, print a copy of the form, and make notes as you play the form movie. If you wish to work with the form in your word processing program, you must download the Word Perfect or Word version of the form.
